The design work for the catalonian winery Hugas de Batlle was inspired by the unique landscapes of this winegrowing region, the contrasts of the typical Catalonian dish Mar i Muntanya and the stormy Tramuntanya route. The gently-winding paths of the slopes where the grapes are grown were visually incorporated into the design of both wine labels and equipment, with GPS data enabling an exact reproduction of topographic characteristics. In addition, this topographical design concept was used to visually distinguish each of the different quality classes the winery has to offer.
